Do you want to see what all the running brought you, or do you want to work on your new years resolutions by participating in a race? Sign up for the Campus Run! It doesn’t matter if you have been running for years or if you have just started, the Campus Run is for everyone!
The Campus Run
The Campus Run is an running event that takes place on the campus of Wageningen University & Research. You can run 2.5km, 5km or the team race. The best 3 men and women and the best 3 teams will receive nice prizes!
It will take place on Tuesday the 9th of April. Everyone can join: students, PhD students, employees, and other sportive people who are not registered at the WUR.
Pre-registration costs €4,- and registration at the event costs €5,-.
Besides being a great race where everyone is welcome, the 5 km is also the qualifying moment for the university team of the Batavierenrace!
Teams
This year, there is a team classification! Here, you can try together with your friends, roommates or colleagues to win the team classification. In a team with 4-6 people (with a minimum of 2 women), you all run the 5 km. Based on the 4 fastest times (with a minimum of 2 women) of your team, we calculate the average speed of the team. The team with the fastest speed wins!
If you run the team race, you automatically compete in the team classification and in the individual 5 km classification.
Important: everyone has to subscribe for the 5 km seperately and send an email to campusrun@tartletos.nl with the team name and team members.
Subscription
You can pre-register via the link below (€4,-). Next to that, you can also register on the race day at the registration desk (€5,-).
Team Race: subscribe via the link above for the 5 km and send an email with the team name and team members to campusrun@tartletos.nl.
Programme
The programme of the competition day will be as follows:
18:00 – Registration desk opens (collect starting number & registration at race day)
19:00 – Start race
19:45 – Medal ceremony
