Tartlétos Weekend 2026

Written by Cedric

Dear Tartleets,

I have the honour to lead you trough the Tartlétos club weekend,
We started off with everyone at the bongerd at 16:45( I was there at 16:47 whoepss) to place everyone in their cars so we could drive to the secret location. With Diede behind the wheel and Sara and Marijn in the back we had a lovely road trip towards Veghel, to be precise Mariahout.

At the location we stood in front of a big hangar were we found Tim and Esmee who already did the groceries for the weekend! After searching for the best bunkbed and establishing ourselves we started the ping pong round the table gathering and some found the football table!

For the evening program we had some very fun get to know each other games where I learned some very nice new greetings, especially high fish was very funny! During the games, each group helped with the cooking of a lovely pasta and afterwards we enjoyed this lovely meal with one another. Then it went really sideways for me…. The linker and the rechter appeared and suddenly everyone was quiet. After doing a beautiful dance because I was late, and colouring a logo in 10 minutes I was finally safe, although some people still had to perform the Finnish anthem. It was time for some nice board games and at 01:00 I found that it was time for bed.

The next morning I was already awake early and so was Anneloes so we started with a game until everyone was woken up and moved to big room. I have to say that if there is somebody that can wake me up in such a happy fashion it can only be Tonnie. And there he was, the big gates opened and he made sure we were all warmed up and awake

Some of us went for a long run in the morning whereafter we all had the dropping in the afternoon! I started in the latest group and had the time of my life, I counted gnomes, proposed, carried a heavy log, got married, and a lot more happened in those 3 hours. It was really fun and super nice to interact with a lot of people I normally wouldn’t speak to.

After another lovely dinner it was time for the evening program with some interesting quiz questions. Thereafter the rest of the activities first had to be build. Glow in the dark dodgeball needed to be set up, Diede and I performed a balancing act most circuses would be proud of. We started off with werewolves outside by the campfire and later joined the dodgeball. We ended the rounds with some very fun traditional child games such as hide and seek or Annamarie Koekkoek! That night a lot of games were again played with the addition of twister! I now know that I am not that flexible as I hoped I would be.

Last but not least the Sunday started off with a lot of tired but happy faces enjoying a nice breakfast again. After everybody got all their personal belongings together we marched into the forest for one last game, where we needed to smuggle doping or intercept the smugglers. I enjoyed running trough the bushes maybe a little bit to much but it was all worth it. After that it was time for the final cleaning and we headed back home to Wageningen.

Then I will now stop writing and give a last thanks to the committee for the great organisation.
I think I speak for more people when I say it was super fun, cool and entertaining!
